I like the photo you used, but I'm not sure if I understood the theme Dark Fairytale... I wish I could see your paintings, as I'm sure it makes the deco even more amazing than it already is. :o)
Just try to imagine a tale where the fairies are not nice and glamourous, au contraire! We have some dark fairytales in the romanian literature and folklore, I would wish I could translate them to you... :)

We do have trolls, witches and small underground creatures that are called "vetter" from our fairytales. But the fairytale itself is never dark in our tellings.:o)
Do you have lots of fairies, elves and such in your fairytales? There are none in ours. :o)

@ Beate - Yes, we have a lot of creatures here, the most known fairies are known as "iele" and they are very strange creatures, nothing like the Disney type of fairytales... I really love our mythology and folklore, they are very rich and I would like to have more time to study things more deeply. I would like to have another Master degree in folklore and mythology... maybe in the future. :)
